I don't know about you, but every time about this time of year my dogs start to pay attention to their paws. After close inspection, I often find a tiny grass seed between their pads and have managed to pluck it out before it has had a chance to work its way into the paw. One on occasion I wasn't so lucky and it cost £700 to have it removed at the vets. I think the moral to the story is, if your dog starts licking the underside of their paws, take a close look immediately and it could save your dog a lot of misery and you a lot of money.
